that vn nerdery was pretty much immediately preceded by light novel nerdery, most potently nisio isin's works through way of my love for shaft. mayoi from monogatari and tomo from zaregoto were some of my very first loves. im not as fervent of a fan as i was like two years ago but zaregoto is still extremely close to me and ill always rep tomo some way or another. nisio basically got me to learn japanese and also think about how wildly concepts can be abstracted and explored in media

though unfortunately a lot of nisio-centric spaces are not my thing and im strongly averse to them but i eagerly invite you to respond to any nisio tweets i make! ill probably do the same

im a big fan of vtuber subculture and the like, specifically of the nijisanji and shigure ui variety, but i dont follow it as actively as i did in 2020
